Arena Powerfin Pro II fins are designed for advanced swimmers. With a shorter and wider press, they are ideal for fast, high-frequency kicking. They train your kicking power and allow a greater range of motion in the ankle due to the loose heel. The fins have side rails on both sides to help control the kick. A stronger kick and faster recoil is also achieved by shaping the fin to the toe. The fins are made from 100% silicone for maximum comfort. The fins are different for the right and left foot.
These fins are now part of every competitive swimmer's kit. Within a year they have become so popular that they are basically a "must have" piece of equipment for all swimmers. Personally, I've had these fins for a few years now and can't get enough of them. They are probably the best fins I have ever owned. The main difference to other fins is the open heel which allows for more ankle movement.
These fins are also a bit stiffer than normal fins and will be harder to get into the first time, but that's just a matter of habit. They are divided into left and right, so pay attention to that. You'll find the letters L and P on the underside of the fins, but you can also tell by the thumb cutout.
And if you like colours, Arena comes up with a new design and colour every year, so you don't just have to have the boring black fins, but green, pink, blue-yellow, and so on.
I would recommend these fins to any competitive swimmer. And also to anyone who wants to invest in quality swimming equipment.
One final recommendation...if you are unsure about the size, go with the larger one.
Material is 100% silicone - Silicone is a very elastic and longlife material. After use, it is recommended to rinse under running clean water and allow to dry thoroughly.
